Campus Life Middle School ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools.

Why Campus Life?

  • Suicide is the number one cause of death among teenagers ages 15-19.
  • The average teenager takes their first drink at age 13.
  • The average age at which a teen becomes sexually active is 15 for girls and 14 for boys.
  • A vast majority of today's young people are never exposed to the gospel because they are never exposed to church.
  • Campus Life goes to where the kids are—their school campuses.
  • Most people who don’t make a decision to follow Jesus in their teenage years never will.

Today, young people everywhere face numerous challenges including social, emotional, physical, family, and spiritual issues, and our community is no exception. At YFC Shasta we recognize that the ways students engage these life issues are significant and future-shaping. For this very reason, we partner with local churches and public schools across the Redding and Enterprise school districts to bring Campus Life Clubs to the young people in our community.

What does Campus Life Club look like?

Campus Life Clubs are hosted once per week after school. Club is a place where students can come and play all sorts of games, hang out with their friends, have a snack, and hear about God's love and plan for their lives. All students are welcome and we will work hard to make them feel that way. Our volunteer Club leaders are specially trained in creating a safe environment that lends itself to initiating lively discussions, answering challenging spiritual questions, and instilling a moral foundation and Christ-like character in students.
